Tunde Ogunje CPA, CMA, MDP

Executive Director

Tunde Ogunje is the Executive Director. He is an accountant with expertise in finance and investment; a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA); the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the United Kingdom (CIMA-UK) and; has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) of the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). He holds a Master’s in Development Practice (MDP) degree from the University of Winnipeg and an undergraduate degree in accounting.

Tunde has almost two decades of experience across Strategic Planning and Management, Community Economic Development, Bookkeeping and Accounting, Auditing and Internal Control, and Finance and Investment. He is the Co-founder/Lead Consultant at EPS Management Consulting Inc. In addition, he currently holds a part-time role with The Griffin Group, supporting as fractional CFO for North Forge Technology Exchange and Tech Manitoba. He worked as the Community Economic Development Lead for the Manitoba Program of Nature United (The Canada program of The Nature Conservancy), and also as an accountant with Indigenous Management Group (IMG), a Management Consulting Company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, engaging in Accounting, Consulting and Project Management activities primarily for First Nation communities. In his previous international experience, he managed his business consulting firm, developing strategies for clients’ Strategic Management, Risk Management, Financial Strategy, and other value-creating approaches to improving the quality of decisions by business leaders to meet their outcomes. He also had consultancy assignments in Development Practice and had other top management capital market experience cutting across Stockbroking Operations, Equity Trading, Asset Management and Corporate Finance.

Tunde has packaged and facilitated several training engagements, teaching various topics cutting across Financial Accounting, Auditing, Finance & Investment, Capital Market Operations, and Supply Chain Management both at in-house training and as an external consultant for other organizations.

Abiola Idowu is a seasoned professional with over two decades of expertise in auditing, accounting, and finance. With a diverse background spanning both the public and private sectors across two continents, Abiola has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and experience in driving financial success. As a respected community leader, Abiola actively contributes to the growth and development of his local community. His dedication to excellence is exemplified by his membership in esteemed professional bodies such as the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), ISACA, and ICAN.Currently serving as the Founder and Managing Consultant of IAS Professional Services, an accounting, bookkeeping, and consulting firm based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Abiola consistently delivers exceptional solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. His firm is renowned for providing comprehensive financial guidance, assisting small and medium-sized businesses in realizing their growth potential. 

Abiola’s professional achievements are underscored by his prestigious designations, including being a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner, among others. These accolades reflect his commitment to staying at the forefront of his field and continuously expanding his expertise.

Babatunde Alabi MDP, MPH

Director, Programs

Babatunde Alabi is the Director of Programs and Board Secretary at EqualDev. He is a development practitioner with several years of experience implementing programs, conducting research, and evaluating interventions within the community and international development sectors. In international development, he has amassed a vast wealth of experience leading and supporting the design and implementation of program initiatives, particularly those related to governance and health system strengthening. In community development, Babatunde’s work has focused on the co-creation of community planning and development initiatives, as well as implementation, research, and evaluation. He is passionate about using program and policy research and evaluation as tools for advocating system change to attain sustainable development. Overall, his career has transversed program design, implementation, research, and evaluation in multiple disciplines, including public health, housing and homelessness, resource development, food security, and criminal justice. Babatunde holds a master’s degree in public health and a master’s degree in development practice and several other certifications. He has authored and co-authored scientific articles published in notable journals and presented academic papers at conferences.
